1. The resist protects the non-image areas of the cylinder from the etchant. 2. Continue cleaning by lightly rubbing the image area with the dampened swab. 3. It should soften the emulsion slightly without being absorbed into the image area . 4. The finished plate now has a non-image area composed of ink repellent silicone. 5. Some double decker puzzles include very simple tricks swappable image areas . 6. Do not touch the image area , instead dab a small section of the border. 7. Lithographic printers employ it to keep the non-image areas of the plate receptive to water. 8. Most lenses are designed to cover more than just the image area to accommodate camera movements. 9. In the image area , the silicone has been removed to expose the ink receptive photopolymer material. 10. In a full-frame device, all of the image area is active, and there is no electronic shutter.
